    Non-Reverse …
    Non-Reverse Firbirds always look so wierd like, i dunno just bent and skewed in a bad way, I prefer the Reverse body alot more.

    would be better if …
    would be better if they had left the original pickups in. that’s one of the only reasons to get your hands on a vintage electric guitar. now it sounds like a metal axe, not a gibson.

    i guess you could, you COULD put about anything on any guitar, but the tone might be a bit funky and you might have to do some re-routing

    no, they don’t. only the ones with active pickups. I know a guy who plays one and he doesn’t need a battery. maybe your buddy, or whoever owned the guitar before him, changed the pickups.

    Help me out here: A good bud of mine had a Gibson Firebird, circa 1970. His was a “reversed” model, and required a 9 Volt battery that inserted inside a panel in the backside. It weighed a ton, too! Heavy as heck, but had a phenominal sustain and “boldness”. Do ALL Firebirds require a 9 Volt battery?
